Amazing service and food. So many excellent choices to choose from, I had to sample the sauces and figured that would make the choice even easier. I was wrong. The food is amazing. Your taste buds will think they have been transported to Souther Italy. Everything fresh and delicious and I was surprised by the bill. The quality and taste is fitting of food that should easily be more expensive but they are way beyond reasonable and fair. Get the vodka sauce it's out if this world!

Husband took me to Salerno's Restaurant and Bar for dinner tonight. It's a very nice venue in a quiet neighborhood. No loud music. No TVs on every wall. Reminded us of how restaurants (and date night) used to be! The staff was attentive and cheerful, and the food was amazing. We opted to get an appetizer and split an entre, and they split it for us so everything was presented beautifully. I definitely recommend this hidden gem.

Great Italian place. Food excellent! Chicken Marsala is awesome! Pecan crusted chicken also delicious. Best salad ever! Run don’t walk to this place! Highly recommend! Staff very friendly!

We went for my Aunt and Uncle's wedding anniversary. The venue room was great and the waitstaff were amazing, very attentive and friendly. The food was mediocre at best with the limited menu we had to order from. However, the appetizers were delicious - I would had rather eaten those than the main course! I ordered the shrimp scampi and was not impressed with any of it, which was disappointing considering the appetizers had been so good. I would go back in a group setting to give it another shot, but would likely not go back on my own accord.

Wife and I have known about this place for a while now but hadn't made the trek up to Highland Village to try it out yet. However, we received a coupon so we figured it was a great opportunity to try it out. We hit the place up during happy hour on a Thursday and were seated right away. The menu is straightforward, offering a variety of pretty standard Italian options. I was thrilled to see Pasta Bolognese as one of the choices, as it's always been one of my favorites. I was not disappointed! The balance of flavors, as well as the texture, were both absolutely spot on. Complementary garlic bread was plenty tasty. And the happy hour drink choices were great. My wife got the lasagna and it was not only outstanding, but somewhat unique in its preparation and presentation. The basic marinara it was served with was also quite well done, with a depth of flavor and not too sweet. The wife also ordered the sangria to drink and reported that it was delicious. We are always easily tempted by dessert, and this is no exception. Having seen a picture of it online, we couldn't resist trying the bread pudding. Be warned, it is very fresh and made to order, so it takes a hot second for it to arrive, but good googly moogly is it ever worth it! Warm, creamy, and absolutely delicious. Easily in my top 5 bread puddings, and that's often our go-to choice, so that's saying something. Do yourself a favor and save room for dessert. The prices were almost too good to be true, especially for the portions. Happy Hour (4-6 pm) drinks were in the $5 range -- wine, well drinks, and a couple of their specialty drinks. Shout out to our server CJ who took excellent care of us (including a helpful nudge on that last item!). We had a great experience at Salerno and we will definitely be back soon.
